David Moyes To Be Offered Arms Full Of Cash To Stay With Everton

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright is on the verge of making David Moyes one of the highest paid managers in Europe should he choose not join Spurs.

Besides Andre Villas-Boas, Moyes is one of the front runners to take over after Harry Redknapp's sacking. This is not to the satisfaction of the Everton board who will not let go of the highly rated manager without a fight.
My wage is going up how high?

Moyes is already one of the highest paid manager is the Premier League, earning around £3.5m a year with the Toffees, and is about to enter the last year of his contract.

After spending the last decade at Goodison Park, Moyes could join the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger as one of Europe's highest paid managers, making it more difficult for Spurs to lure him away.

Redknapp was on much less than Moyes is now, so with a pay rise, Spurs would have to stump up not only compensation for breaking his contract, but also a competitive wage to hold his interest.
