New Huddersfield Town Home Shirt Revealed

Last night saw the unveiling of the new Huddersfield Town home shirt for the 2012/12 season to around 200 fans outside the train station in St George's square.

Using a state of the art projector, provided by Lumin, the front of Huddersfield train station was turned into a drive-in type cinema screen for the fans to view the new kit.

Following the start of the event, pictures of the shirt were released on twitter and on the clubs official site, leading to mixed opinions from the fans.

It was scheduled to start at 9:30pm, however with the light not fading as quickly as the projectionist would have liked, the start was delayed a little. Once it got underway the fans were in full voice, chanting like they were back at Wembley.

The shirt features new sponsor Rekorderlig Cider whilst the blue striped are checked, much like the new Manchester United shirt. This can be seen on the picture right.

By 10:30pm most of the fans had gone, however the projection came into its own. A gallery of the nights images can be seen at http://bit.ly/MzuRt5
